the 7 songs of merlin T.A Barron

In the 7 Songs of Merlin a plight has struck the land and a boy and girl must fight to save it. Meanwhile a poet is trying to survive in this plague ridden land trying to survive. The plague kills almost everything that it touches. This is a really good book however has a fairly confusing plot that can distract from itself. In the end I liked this book a lot and it seemed like a good book about good people. I however would change one thing and take the poet to of the book because his side story seemed pointless and acted as a distraction from the plague. Overall this was a good book.
