Falling Slowly

I had fallen down about five times that day before it happened. Both of my boots were unbuckled. I was about to hit a jump when I experienced excruciating pain. My right foot came free. The pain was worse than breaking a wrist. And then my other ski landed right in front of my face barely clipping my shoulder. And then my face got cold. This was purely because my ski tried to rip me around. I was stuck, strung like a bow. I managed to grab a pole and unbuckle my other boot and take my foot out. I was saved well I think.
